Outdoor and Adventure

The learning objectives of the outdoor and adventure activities include recognising the importance of team work, working individually and co-operatively in small groups, being aware of the strengths and weaknesses of others, contributing to group/team discussions and activities and adhering to the rules of safety. These objectives are met through simple challenges, co-operative activities and simple orienteering activities.

Outdoor and Adventure is a teacher led session where one card is used for the whole session. The teacher leads the activities, the children do the activities in groups and the parents float between groups giving help and support.
